valentine's day yarn vase

I have a charming little V-Day project today! It also happened to be featured on Simple The Sweet Life too, which you can see here.  Let me introduce you to the yarn vase! An easy project you can create and give to loved ones, teachers or for your own home this Valentine's Day. Read below to get the how-to.

Supplies:
Vase, colored yarn, hot-glue, paper, scissors and fresh flowers

Directions:
Clean the vase out with hot-soapy water. Use a dab of hot glue to keep the yarn in place and start wrapping from the bottom up. When you reach the top add another dab of glue and press onto the glass. Pick out your favorite color paper and trace a heart on the back. Cut the shape out and glue it to the front of the vase. Add some fresh flowers and you're done!

Don't forget to enter the giveaway TODAY!! I'll pick a winner tomorrow at noon!!

That is such a cute idea and extremely effective. I will remember this one for later use.

Very cute! Will be making this tomorrow and I just so happen to have several of these smaller vases left over from another project.
